Robert Allen writes and performs country music in all its many styles: traditional, new, bluegrass, honky tonk, rockabilly, alternative, and blues. It all started in New London, CT at age 7 singing “Happy Trails To You” in the school talent show.
By the time he was 16 he and his best buddies had formed East Hampton, CT’s proverbial high school band. As ‘The Specials’ they played at all the local school dances and even persuaded the movie theater owner to let them play between matinees on the weekend. That was definitely a first in their town!
Then came a stint in the U.S. Navy and Robert formed ‘The Signalmen’. The ship’s captain liked the band so well he arranged for them to perform before officials and dignitaries in Italy, Subic Bay, Hong Kong, China, Spain, Africa and Hawaii.
After the Navy Robert spent several years on Staten Island performing with ‘The Country Echoes’
The call of Nashville came next. While there he formed and fronted ‘Red Hot Ricochet Band’ and ‘Connection”. The bands played country, top 40, southern rock, oldies and threw in some blues. Between the last two bands, Robert spent a few years fronting for Grand Ole Opry artist Stonewall Jackson. He performed at all the major (and some not so major) clubs in and around Nashville and did demo work at several well-known studios. And he was on the road a lot; all over the country in all types of venues.
Then it was on to the Atlanta area. After performing with ‘Class Reunion’ for a while, Robert formed ‘Robert Allen & Co.’ and began playing locally. Then he went on an extended USO tour entertaining in Turkey, Italy, Greece and Spain. After returning he assisted at a recording studio doing everything from administration to demos. Robert finally took the opportunity to stay put and record some of the material he had written over the years. And he was able to help promote others! Robert co-produced, co-edited, directed, and hosted “Songwriters”, a 30 minute Atlanta area community access TV show featuring unsigned songwriters of all genres.
Now he’s back in the Nashville area making more music and loving it! He is once again working with Stonewall Jackson fronting his show and singing harmonies and playing harmonica with him. He also fronts his own group again and staffs it with Grand Ole Opry veteran players.

Bradford, Pennsylvania’s Dead Men Don’t Talk was formed in January 2009. Its current incarnation came about in March 2009. Guitarist Brian Thompson (ex-Dank) and drummer Eric Crouse (ex-Halfway House, Oh the Humanity, Ballad of a Bullet; currently, Blue Team Wins) enlisted bassist Brad Osborne and vocalist Rich Bisker (ex-Ffats, PGS, etc.; currently, Blue Team Wins) and started writing the sort of music they wanted to hear: angular, yet catchy and fun, yet bone-crushingly brutal, all within the span of one song. Their undeniable commitment to the songwriting process has helped the band to build a devoted local fanbase, who is clamoring for more. The foursome will be heading down to Lebanon Valley College in Annville, PA in January 2010 to record their debut album. Look for a tour with another regional band for the summer of 2010.
Dead Med Don't Talk will perform at Grace Lutheran Community Center at 8:15pm.

Kills The Moment is a five piece Hardcore/ Metal band from Western New York comprised of five young, but open-minded and talented individuals that have been influenced from all different styles to create a truly unique sound. After a slight line-up change in late 2009, Kills the Moment has proven to be persisstant in pressing forward even through times of distress. Kills The Moment has made big strides and gained a large fan base since their beginning, and has played with such national acts as Poison the Well, Stick to your guns, Veil of Maya, Endwell, The Ghost Inside, IWRESTEDABEARONCE, Drop Dead Gorgeous, He Is Legend, Psyopus and many many more. Consistently drawing a large crowd whenever they play.
The release of their new EP entitled "Currents" surprised many as it is easy to tell that the musical compostion, writing style and technicality has greatly improved since their previous release "Connection Lost...". While the CD can show a much more melodic side in each song, it is very easy to tell that the music has grown to be much heavier than before while still keeping the accustomed sound that Kills The Moment has. Their music has a wide range between crushing breakdowns, melodic singing, heavy riffs and bouncy 2-steps all very well put together. With so much happening within the band, Kills The Moment shows no sign of slowing down and continues to move forward musically.
Kills The Moment will perform at Grace Lutheran Community Center at 9:00pm.

“Surrender this city is a five piece post-hardcore band that comes from Olean, NY. The origins of the band began in late 2007, with only three of the original members remaining in the band, as of today. They have many influences, ranging from alternative, to black metal, to death-core. Surrender This City, with their fast paced guitars, and intense breakdowns, continue to crush the local music scene.”
Absolutely incredible music. Their attitude seems to come straight out of the speakers. These guys have the lyric, vocals, and musical skills to make it huge. – Alec Promotions
“I love when music tells a story. Surrender This City would be the number one death metal on my page, considering I have never heard other metal bands tell a story behind their screams. This band is my number one pick.” – Catherine: Alec Promos
